Get with Mitt!
I have decided that I am going to vote for Mitt Romney in my state’s upcoming Republican primary. I believe that I have reviewed each candidate thoroughly enough to determine which one best aligns with my positions on what I believe are the most important issues for our country. I also looked at the person behind the candidate since it requires more than just ideology to become an effective leader. I have listed the criteria I used in selecting a candidate and have included how I believe Mitt stacks up against them.
National Security - Keep My Family Safe
As president, I believe the number one job is to keep us safe from “all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Not only are we fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, but we are also fighting a larger war against violent, radical, fundamental Islam. That war needs to be fought both abroad and on U.S. soil. Mitt Romney recognizes the threat against us and will confront the Islamo-fascists through stronger military and intelligence services. He is also committed to securing our borders.
Fiscal Responsibility - Stay Away from My Wallet
We are grossly overtaxed. Everybody wants the government to pay for something they want and congress is all to happy to oblige (buy using our money). As a successful businessman I think Mitt is uniquely qualified to control government spending. He has indicated he would do as much through strict spending limits, entitlement reform, vetoes, and supporting a return to a 60% super-majority requirement for congress to pass any law that would raise taxes.
Illegal Immigration - Enforce Our Laws
Illegal immigration is, well…illegal! We have made a mockery of our laws by allow this to go on for so long and now it is really starting to hurt. It is both a security nightmare and huge financial drain to continue to allow people enter this county illegally. Amnesty is not the answer. We need to secure our borders, penalize companies who hire illegals and deport convicted criminals who happen to be aliens. Only after all of that is in place, should we start documenting the illegals already here and moving them towards becoming citizens. Mitt Romney has a plan for illegal immigration that covers all of these items and I think it is just what the doctor ordered.
Supreme Court Nominees - Don’t Legislate from the Bench
The Supreme Court has such a profound effect on our lives that one of most important things a president does is pick judicial nominees for the Court. I want judges who interpret the Constitution as it was written, not as they would like it to be. Mitt has the same beliefs and will nominate someone who respects the Constitution.
Values and Integrity - Have Some
I believe Mitt Romney is a man of resolute integrity and possess strong values that match many of mine. I also believe he will stand up for what is right and not capitulate at the first sign of conflict.
There are many more issues (education, abortion, energy, health care, gay marriage, etc.) that require attention but I believe these to be the most important at this time in history and I have concluded that Mitt Romney is the best candidate address these issues and lead our country.

“Clint(on) is a FOOL!” A third place finish is as expected. However, I am worried that if Huck-a-bee continues on this course of insubordination, I will have no choice but to vanquish him. He does not stand a chance of having the Death (to taxes) Star operational.
Obama is currently providing a large disturbance in the force for Hillary. Since he has only completed two years of Political Jedi training as a Senate Padawan learner, there is little he could understand about supreme executive power. His time would be better spent as spokes person for the Ewoks. At least then they’d have some to look up to.
Yes, Mitt clearly is the choice for to lead the Imperial (Read: National) Forces. He possesses a high degree of integrity, as efforts to turn him to the dark side were to no avail. Despite his need for a Kolobostomy, his business sense and ability to maintain effectiveness has not been witnessed since the Regan Regime.
Yes. Lord Vader pledges his alliance to Lord Romney.
